The better banjo bridge is the easiest way to improve your sound. Our bridges are compensated so that they stay in tune up the neck and are handmade one at a time with immense attention to detail. Note: All bridges are built by hand to order, and may require 1-10 business days to build, depending on our current workload.

Pick the weight that suits your style: heavier bridges will be warmer for their weight and have more sustain, lighter bridges will be brighter will a quicker decay.

Keep in mind though that taller bridges will be warmer as they will naturally be heavier and vise versa. So a 'light' 11/16" bridge may be heavier/warmer than a 'heavy' 5/8", for example.

Because of Nechville's Quick-Cam neck connection they can be adjusted for up to a 3/4" bridge. Other banjos may only be able to go up to 11/16" without serious adjustment like a neck reset. If you don't have a Nechville and are unsure, it's best to stick with the height you have or consult a professional luthier.
